The singer has been outspoken regarding the legal battle with her producer and alleged rapist Dr. Luke, which currently prevents her from releasing new music. In an Instagram post, Kesha continued to express her frustration and perseverance to get the music out to fans ears no matter what it takes.

"Just got back a mix of me and someone singing a duet crying happy tears never in my life imagined this dream could ever actually come true," she wrote. "Please pray one day y'all can hear this music."
She went on to detail the emotions behind her recent recordings, calling it the "most vulnerable and honest" she had ever been.
"I cannot wait and will forever fight for you to hear it," she said, explaining all she wants for Christmas was for fans to hear the new music that she is finishing, and has made that her 2017 resolution.
