Chen Zhijie, is reportedly set to leave the company soon and has launched a new venture in the AI field, focusing on AI coding, according to the Chinese media outlet Cailianpress.com. He is already in discussions with investors. Chen, who held a 5-1 position at TikTok, joined ByteDance in April 2022 as a senior technical director, leading the platform’s recommendation algorithm and data science teams.
