A couple of months ago, Edison Research and Triton Digital unveiled the 2017 Infinite Dial Study which contained the latest research on social media, digital audio, and podcast consumption.

Podcasts, and podcasting overall, continues to steadily reach Americans as a growth medium. 40 percent of Americans over the age of 12 have listened to at least one podcast before with 24 percent having listened to one in the past month. Overall, these numbers are up 21 percent from 2016.

As the podcasting platform continues to expand, so does its offerings. There’s a podcast episode out there for every kind of listener on topics ranging from true crime to pop culture—but today, let’s focus on the topic of entrepreneurship.

With summer winding up, it’s time to get back to business and if you’re in need of a little extra inspiration or insight, these seven podcasts are perfect for binge-listening this fall. Earbuds in, everyone.

1. StartUp

There are the expectations that come with getting a business off the ground and then there are the realities.

Chances are, you’re more likely to face realities like bootstrapping and juggling your professional world with your personal one than you would be to become an overnight success — and that’s perfectly okay. Hosted by Alex Blumberg and Lisa Chow, Gimlet Media’s StartUp takes a thoughtful approach to what it means to start and run a business.

Profiles on entrepreneurs cover everything you ever wondered about startups but were afraid to ask including what it means to start a company with a criminal history and why some businesses have all the right ingredients for success but don’t quite succeed.

2. How I Built This

Ever wonder how innovative brands like Spanx, Airbnb, and Edible Arrangements — built on concepts that seemed unusual at first, but we can’t imagine a world without now — got their start?

NPR’s How I Built This goes behind the scenes with their founders and many more to talk about their journey from small biz to international recognition. Hosted by Guy Raz, you’ll learn how to succeed in business but even more about how to fail making this podcast essential listening for new and established ‘treps.

3. The EntreLeadership Podcast

The happy images curated on a startup’s Instagram may be far from the reality of what’s really going on with the company. Is it still considered too taboo to openly talk about businesses that struggle or fail?

Not on The EntreLeadership Podcast. Based off of Dave Ramsay’s personal business playbook “EntreLeadership” and hosted by Ken Coleman, episodes dive into the nitty gritty of startup 101 from scaling a business to marketing yourself.

And while these might sound like heavy topics to listen to, keep calm and download on. This podcast is here to empower you to be successful and grow your own self, team, and profits.

4. HerMoney with Jean Chatzky

As the financial editor at the "Today Show," Jean Chatzky knows money but doesn’t do generic money talk.

Instead, she’s offering financial advice tailored for women in her podcast HerMoney with Jean Chatzky. Each episode touches on every type of money issue from facing and paying off debt to financial mistakes to avoid making with a side of work-life balance tips to ensure a more confident, mindful you.

At the end of the day, every woman wants her tomorrow to be comfortable and worry-free — and that’s where this audio show is ready to help out.

5. Entrepreneurs on Fire with John Lee Dumas

Few podcasts can say that they go live seven days a week, but that’s where Entrepreneurs on Fire stands out in bringing the heat. Since it goes live so frequently, each audio show have about a twenty-minute run time for bite-sized binge-listening.
