A few days ago, The New York Times announced that it's finally fixing the most annoying thing about Wordle: The fact that your stats weren't linked to your NYT account. Instead, your stats would reset every time you played on a new device or browser.
Once your account is linked, your stats will be saved no matter which device you're playing on, as long as you're logged into your NYT account.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Alas, the feature wasn't immediately enabled after the announcement, and NYT only said it's coming "soon."
Now, however, the Wordleteam at Mashable can confirm that the feature is now available. I've tied my account on iOS, and the stats were happily there when I opened Wordleon my laptop.
There you go, folks: No longer will you have to suffer the humiliation of partially losing your Wordlestatistics and the bragging rights that go with them. Go forth, and prospthrivexcel, that's it, excel!
Not the day you're after? Here's the solution to today's Wordle.
