The Go For Broke National Education Center’s “Defining Courage” exhibition is now open on Fridays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The exhibition will continue to be open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Final visitor admissions are accepted 30 minutes before closing.

The new display features the Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross and Bronze Star medals of Pfc. Ryo “Joe” Hayashi (100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team).

GFBNEC thanks the Watanabe family for the opportunity to share his story and his medals.

GFBNEC is located at 355 E. First St. in Little Tokyo. Admission is $10 general, $5 for seniors (62+). Free admission for children 5 and under, all veterans and active duty military, students with valid ID, and GFBNEC members. For more information, call (310) 328-0907 or visit www.goforbroke.org.
