The ice parlour sex videosDowntown Film Festival Los Angeles will screen the noir classic “The Crimson Kimono” (1959) on Wednesday, July 16, at 8 p.m. at Cicada Restaurant, 617 S. Olive St., Los Angeles.
Directed by Samuel Fuller, the film was shot in Little Tokyo. James Shigeta and Glenn Corbett star as LAPD detectives investigating the murder of a stripper. Complications develop when both men fall in love with the same woman (Victoria Shaw). The cast also includes George Yoshinaga, Aya Oyama, George Okamura, Ryosho S. Sogabe and Bob Okazaki.
“Join us for a classic movie in one of L.A.’s most beautiful venues, Cicada Restaurant in Downtown L.A.,” festival organizers said. “Be a part of movie-making history and hang out with us at the place you’ve seen on the big screen many times.
“Cicada has been featured in many feature films, including ‘The Artist,’ ‘Indecent Proposal,’ ‘Wall Street,’ ‘Pretty Woman,’ and ‘Bruce Almighty.’ You might have also seen the location on many television shows such as ‘Mad Men,’ ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ ‘90210,’ and ‘Heroes.’ If you’re a music fan, maybe you have seen the place in music videos for many popular artists such as Eve & Gwen Stefani, Maroon Five, The Jonas Brothers and more.”
Guest can chose between two options.
Option 1: Movie and happy hour cocktails on the second-level VIP lounge.
Option 2: Dinner with a movie and happy hour combination. Guests enjoy a formal dinning experience as part of Dine LA Week in one of L.A.’s historic treasures. Dinner option is an additional $45 per person.
