ANAHEIM — The Anaheim Police Department on Thursday morning asked for the public’s help in locating a missing octogenerian, but later reported that she had been found.
Mae Takayama, 80, went missing in the area of Dale Street and Lincoln Avenue, and was in need of medication. The alert was widely shared on social media.
In an update that evening, the department posted, “Mae has been found! Thank you!” No further details were provided.
