Actual investigative journalism: who needs it?great sex scene video
At least, that's what some people will likely conclude after watching these fake news reports from the Newseum, a museum dedicated to exploring the role of journalism in America. Sage Boggs, a reporter from Mic, recently discovered videos uploaded to YouTube from a Newseum exhibit that invites guests to pretend to be reporters.

For the exhibit, called "Be a Reporter," guests stand in front of a blue screen and teleprompter while reporting news "out in the field." Guests read lines right off the teleprompter and get a real taste of what it's like to be a broadcast journalist.
A few guests chose not to listen to instructions and instead improvised their own news reports. Sometimes this involved dancing. Other times, singing. And every once in a while, a beautifully passive aggressive birth announcement.
Though the Newseum does not directly upload the videos, a YouTuber has assembled them into a Newseum Archives channel. The museum used to give guests the options of uploading their video directly to YouTube, before suspending the option earlier this year to make improvements to the technology.
But now, millions everywhere can watch a reporter called Buttface tell us the Supreme Court is "basically useless."
