FFAR 1

The FFAR 1 was one of the best guns in Black Ops Cold War, and it’s back with a vengeance in Warzone. However, while it originally shone as an all-round AR, it’s best-suited as a sniper support weapon in Season 4.

Its low recoil and solid TTK make it the perfect partner to an HDR or any other sniper. Crucially, if you pair it with a sniper, you’ll have every range covered, as opposed to an SMG, which is only competitive up to around 20 meters in most cases.

Saug

The Saug was buffed in the Season 3 update, catapulting an already strong SMG into the meta. Although not quite as consistent as the KSV, it’s got excellent movement speed, which lets you fly around the map.?

Its TTK is right up there with the best SMGs, plus it has really clean iron sights, so if you’re an aggressive player that favors Resurgence or getting up in players’ faces, you can’t go wrong with it.?

Kilo 141

The Kilo 141 is the meta jack-of-all-trades gun because it’s so easy to use. With many of Warzone’s fights taking place at long range, there’s always a place in the meta for a low-recoil Assault Rifle, and the Kilo fills that place perfectly.?

It’s no slouch when it comes to damage either, taking full advantage of Warzone’s fast TTK. It might struggle at extremely long or close ranges, but you’ll never feel at a huge disadvantage using it, so make sure to check out the best Kilo 141 Warzone loadout.

C9

Dexerto

The C9 is a great SMG for getting up close and personal with your enemies, and it rewards headshots thanks to its buffed multiplier.

It’s fast and easy to use, but you’ll probably notice that hitting the stomach and legs kills its TTK, so you’ll need to be accurate to get the most from it.?

CR-56 AMAX

The CR-56 AMAX was an extremely dominant choice during Verdansk’s first run, and it dominated Warzone again at the start of Season 3.?A substantial nerf in the May 7 update has knocked it off the top spot, but it’s still a top-tier choice.

Although harder to control than the Kilo or Swat 5.56, it packs a serious punch with a blisteringly fast TTK if you land your shots. Plus, the bullet velocity makes it feel almost like hitscan. In a face-on-face gunfight, the AMAX will come out on top more often than not.?

It was slightly held back by its 45-round mag in the original Verdansk, but Black Ops 6 has given it a 60-round mag, so make sure you equip that on the loadout.

Ladra

Activision

After arriving in the Season 3 Reloaded update, the Ladra has immediately become the best SMG in Warzone. While it lacks the versatility of something like the AK-74, it more than makes up for it with great mobility and an insane TTK.

Its secret weapon is its fire rate, which is far faster than most guns in its class. So, if you’re hitting your shots, it absolutely melts through enemies in close-range fights.

The Grau 5.56 has returned as a conversion kit for the Swat 5.56, and like its original form, it’s an absolute laser beam.?Not much separates it from the Kilo, but the Grau kills slightly faster at longer ranges, and you can feel the difference.?

LC10 – Best SMG in Warzone

The LC10 may have only arrived in Season 4, but it’s already become the best SMG that Warzone has to offer. This is thanks in no small part to its ferocious TTK, which is one of the fastest in the category at close range.

It’s also surprisingly versatile thanks to its low recoil, meaning it can compete at mid-range too. All of this combines to make the perfect sniper support weapon, so be sure to give it a go if you like to hunker down on a rooftop or in a building.

HDR – Best sniper in Warzone

The HDR is the perfect Sniper Rifle in Warzone thanks to its ability to one-shot-headshot at any range and high bullet velocity.?

This sniper was a menace in the original Verdansk, and once again, you’ll need to keep an eye on rooftops and windows as, more likely than not, the last thing you see before going to the Gulag is the sniper glint from an HDR.?

Krig C

The Krig C had slipped out of the meta in recent months after newer guns stole its thunder, but a hefty buff in the May 7 update has propelled it straight to the top. The classic Assault Rifle is now head and shoulders above the rest, and a must-use if you want the best chance of victory.

Its tricky recoil has been adjusted to make it very easy to use, and it deals a ton of damage at mid-range too. While there are weapons on this list that hit slightly harder overall, the Krig shines because you can hit shots and get the best TTK in virtually every fight.
