A reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. program.
The panel examines images of Asians in films and on TV and features George Takei (“Star Trek”), Janina Gavankar (“True Blood”), Gina Nahai (“Captain Rain”), and moderator Koji Steven Sakai, screenwriter and producer and manager of programs for JANM.
