Airbnb has activated its disaster response page following the record-breaking flooding in Louisiana.

With at least seven people dead and connor and brittany sex ed videossome 20,000 evacuated as a result of the flood, the accommodation site has set live the tool that allows hosts to offer their homes free of charge.

Anyone with a property listed in the affected area has been emailed by the site with a request for help. Existing hosts and local residents with extra space can host those in need for free, and all Airbnb bookings in the affected area are fee-free from Aug 14 to Sept 4.

Airbnb's disaster response page was first put into action during Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and has been deployed everywhere from Serbia to London, Toronto and the Philippines after extreme weather events.

Several homes and properties nearby were available for free on the site Monday afternoon.
